we came here for our honeymoon, and it was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was very helpful and accommodating; we had a lot of travel issues getting here, but everyone we talked to was very kind, and when our baggage was later even than we were, they made sure we knew as soon as it got there. There was even a handwritten note in the room to congratulate us on our marriage, to give everything an even more personal touch. The room is lovely, spacious, quiet, and clean, and the bed is very soft - an easy place to relax after a long flight. I only wish our stay hadn't been cut short!

Refurbishment of bedrooms was long overdue and is being staged gradually .The Executive room I stayed in recently was fabulous. Featuring bespoke units and Brazilian style rain forest shower . Very good all round . However a note of caution. As you exit from shower it is a raised wet floor shower with half glass. You have a step down to encounter. This might be hazardous if you wearing glasses and they steam up . Just be careful.

Lovely hotel. It was in a great location for us, and it was exactly what we needed when coming back to Dublin from London. The room was large and clean, the renovations helped keep the place looking nice, and the bathroom was amazing. Breakfast was very good as well. We had absolutely nothing to complain about.

Your staff are very friendly and polite, the hotel is maintained immaculately, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and my father commented that they were the best scrambled eggs he had ever had in a hotel. You would have got a 10/10 if the TV reception was better. some of the channels were very snowy and the guide was 'not available' when looking for a channel so I never knew which channel I was watching. I couldn't find TG4! Very small gripe I understand but that why its not a 10. All in all great hotel and would definitely recommend it.

We arrived for an overnight stay in Dublin after a busy weekend. The staff was very friendly and welcoming upon arrival, and kindly assisted us with any special requests we had. Although the room was not prepared to our order (twin bed instead of double) it was quickly rectified while we had a very good cup of coffee and relaxed from the journey downstairs. The room was spacious enough , and the breakfast was tasty and filling. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

Overall a very comfortable place to stay. Room was large, plenty of closet and drawer space for a long stay. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for little things that went wrong because a large part of the hotel is under construction, but my mini fridge didn't work, and they said someone would come take a look at it, but it never worked for the week I was there. There was also a little speaker system to use with a phone or music player, but that didn't work either. Still, this is a great location about halfway between the tech companies in the canal area and the city center, beds are comfy, and the blackout curtains work really well so I had no problem sleeping.

Great hotel, room 508 was fantastic!! Breakfast was not great to be honest. I know they are having construction work done at the moment so maybe the kitchen is not in full swing. But that aside the hotel is really great. Couldn't fault the room or the staff. I would definitely return.

Hotel was very pretty but the air conditioner was not existent. Called front desk 6 times over a 2 day period, they said it was working fine. Thank god we only had 2 nights here, would have been looking for another hotel if we had more days booked. Had to wait 4 hours for a second roll of toilet paper and that was after a second call to front desk. No Kleenex in the box. Said they didn't have any more. Safe would not open with code. Started a 30 minute count down and would not open. Had to call front desk took 15 minutes for some one to get here still couldn't get in safe. Internet is so slow you can barely check an email. 10 euros if you want it to work faster. Hotel was under going renovation and had no room service or restaurant. To many nice looking hotels in Dublin stay somewhere else.

Had a lovely stay overall. The room was very nice and the staff mostly very friendly and really helpful. The person who checked us in, however, was abrupt and unaware of (and subsequently somewhat disgruntled about) our late check-out arrangement that we had prepaid for online. Nor was our late check-out communicated effectively to other staff as we did get a knock on the door the following day and somebody entered not knowing we should still be there. The breakfast was lovely though and overall the staff very friendly and helpful. Just a shame that the lack of professionalism at check-in and communication about our late check-out left a bit of a bad taste.

We have stayed here before and like its location within Dublin City Centre and easy walking distance of Trinity College, Grafton Street, St. Stephen's Green, Temple Bar, CHQ and the EPIC Experience, etc. Hotel was in the process of being renovated during our stay (to become the sleeker "Alex" hotel) and our room was newly designed with a nice open, minimal, masculine feel. Noise from construction is limited to between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Ground floor breakfast dining area and future coffee shop. (Nice pub, The Ginger Man, right across the street serves lunch and dinner.) We needed to add a night to our stay and reception desk handled it with no problem since I booked our initial stay online through the hotel site.

A very nice and comfortable hotel, well designed (recently renovated),at an excellent location. Everything in Dublin Center is within walking distance. I went for the continental breakfast, which was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet. This is a happy customer. One small suggestion for improvement. The walls appear to be rather thin, when my neighbor turned on the t.v. right after I arrived I could hear it, even though it was not turned on at a loud volume. The very nice lady at the desk went out of her way to find an alternative room but I decided to stay in the same room and I did not have any problem for the next two days. If they manage to isolate/soundproof the walls this would be the perfect hotel. I'm still giving it all the stars I can.

Comfortable, convenient and stylish. Would happily come again! Of particular note the food was outstanding. I had dinner one night (superfood salad, sea bass with potato cake) and veggie breakfast two days. Great effort.

Vile hotel. Had a coffee in it recently. Toilets are deplorable, like something out of a horror movie. Avoid this place in my opinion. 21/11/2017 In response to your generic retort. I gave the hotel a second chance now that it is 'beautiful' - not sure if that implies it wasnt before your upgrade, given that you were charging similar prices. I Digress. I was with a group that asked for hot port. They were served hot brandy. I was then informed that the manager told him to give it to us - maybe you might update your reasoning, or even better train your bar staff on the difference between port and brandy.
