Two music headliners have been announced, Damien Dempsey and Stockton’s Wing. The festival takes place on Saturday 3rd and 4th of February at Leopardstown.

  • Emil Nolde: Colour is Life

    emil nolde two women in a garden 720w 150x150 whats onThe February 14th, the National Gallery of Ireland inaugurates an exciting exhibition of the German Expressionist, Emil Nolde. It is the first time his work has been showcased in Ireland in 50 years so if you are an art lover you should pay a visit to the gallery and discover Nolde’s world through scenes of Berlin café culture, calligraphic views of the River Elbe and fantastical creatures. The exhibition will be held until Jun.

  • Temple Bar Tradfest

    TF18 TaraBreen 600web 150x150 whats onThis annual event occurs at the beating heart of Dublin’s arts and culture district, Temple Bar. Tradfast is Ireland’s largest festival of traditional music and beyond taking place between the 24th of January and the 28th. During this period, international acts will be performing as well as Irish artist. It is an opportunity to experience live music in some of Dublin’s most historic places. Tickets must be booked in advance even for the free concert. You can see the program here.

  • Good Morning Mr Turner

    w1500 Turner Mewstone Plymouth 150x150 whats onVisit the annual Turner watercolours exhibition at the National Gallery of Ireland from the 1st of January to the 31st. This year the exhibition will be complemented by etching and drawings by Kerry-based master printmaker Niall Naessens. On the 15th, the National Gallery of Ireland will host an exquisite evening of masterpieces, music and food to celebrate the return of this exhibition.
